Today's nail: O.P.I. Merry Midnight

Three words for you my pretties:

Oh.

My.

Goodness-gracious-me!

(That last photo is the blurry "ooooh look at all the pretty sparkly glitteries" photo!)

I want to meet the person at O.P.I. who came up with this colour and I want to give them a great big slobbery kiss.  This colour is amazing - a dark grape coloured base (three coats to opaque) packed with different coloured glitters AND pink flakies. Flakies!  Lovely formula and application - O.P.I. please please pretty please make more polishes like this one!

Merry Midnight is part of the Holiday Wishes 2009 Collection - I picked it up when I was out shopping the other day, even though I normally prefer to order my O.P.I.'s from overseas because even with freight it still works out cheaper than buying them at the ridiculously expensive price they go for here in New Zealand. I'm so glad I caved and bought it!

  3. This is a lovely shade. It's on my list of polishes to buy. Love the purple and all the pretty glimmery bits.

  5. Zeb: find the O.P.I. stand in Farmers! Although they are NZ$25.00 a bottle - eep!

  8. Yanno I don't own any glitter jelly type polishes... But not for long. I realized I was lacking in this glorius department and have both the blogging staples on a shipment to me.... China glaze Ruby Pumps and Emerald Sparkle. Can't wait to see how they suit me. I think I'll be needing to add more variety do will note this one! Btw I found out about shipping nailpolish in and out of new Zealand..... Technically you are meant to full out a hazoudous content form so it can be ground shipped only.... This applies for perfume and deoderants etc..... Same rules for posting within NZ too. Tho lady said noone does it and it's very hard to catch anyone out..... I never realized cos I've received both polish and perfume in mail orders fine!

  9. Oh Selina, I forgot to mention in my earlier comment to you about a trademe seller that sells OPI now. Did you know? They range from $12-$16 and I think it's worth it for a colour you are lemming.. esp a one off because you gotta factor in the exchange rate overseas and the shipping costs that can add up. Here is the link to the one you just purchased: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Health-beauty/Hand-foot-care/Nail-polish/OPI/auction-263124556.htm
I have also been buying NailTek off trademe and China Glaze. The seller who does the China Glaze ($12 not bad) also had stock of Seche Vite but has sold out :((() I gotta get me some of that. xx

  10. That's good to know Hannah - I often get polishe off TradeMe, but so often I found that once I'd added in the postage it worked out to about the same as buying it in the shop, especially with brands like O.P.I. - I will definitely check that seller out!
