Christmas sweaters are a crime against all that is good and fashionable. Christmas socks can be pretty tacky too, but these ones I would wear:

Cute, huh? I'd wear these. Although I should point out that I have been known to wear Christmas earrings. Only on Christmas Day mind. And I've never worn a Christmas sweater. Ever!

All I want for Christmas: socks (no, really!)

It's a staple of gift-giving humour isn't it, the sock? From the dad pretending to be excited about yet another pair of socks and a tie from his loving brood, to the teenager who knows that the parcel from Great Aunt Eustace will contain a pair of sensible socks, a floral hanky and $2.00 "to buy yourself something nice, dear".

Your daily dose of pretty: polka dot over the knee socks with bow

I'm only five foot tall and a little on the ... ahem ... curvaceous side, so over the knee socks on me don't really work. Plus there's the whole thing about me being nearly 40 - the phrase 'mutton dressed as lamb' comes to mind. I find this enormously upsetting, I'd love to rock out the whole short skirt with over the knee socks thing - it's just so adorable. And speaking of adorable, look at these:
