Your daily dose of pretty: at least I think it is...

Normally I look at a pair of shoes and know immediately whether I love them or not. These ones I look at and think "ooooh, pretty, want! No ... wait ... do not want! But pretty, want ... but ..." - it's about this stage that I collapse in a puddle of existential shoe-angst.



The pluses to these shoes are obvious, the mary jane style, the concealed platform, the gorgeous heel. And part of me loves the ever so slightly OTT polka dots, they make me think of Minnie Mouse, which may well be where the problem lies - there's something to be said for NOT leaving the house dressed like a cartoon character.

However, the fact that they're for sale on a site that specialises in gothic clothing is a mitigating circumstance, these aren't meant to be your run-of-the-mill everyday shoes.
