These are the first pop beauty polishes I've tried and I like them. Lovely formula, Ocean was a two coater, Turquoise three. The only thing I didn't like so much was the long brush, I find a shorter brush easier to handle for precise application.
Anyway here's Ocean:
Oh dear, ignore my cuticles please. Also, that dent you see on my middle nail? Well, you know how I've been known to be a bit of a klutz? (My eyelashes grew back by the way, just in case you were wondering.) Well in another staggering example of klutziness that dent is the result of my razor nicking my fingernail during some rather delicate ... ahem ... bikini line manoeuvering. Don't ask. Seriously, just don't.
So, if I could draw your attention away from my bikini line and back to the polish, isn't Ocean gorgeous? Described as an iridescent sea blue, there is a faint shimmer in there which doesn't really show up in the photos. Truly beautiful, it seems to have a glow about it and I'm in love with it.
Frustratingly I could not capture Turquoise.
I cannot get my camera to give a good representation of blue greens. In reality it shows a lot more green than the picture would have you believe - it's a vibrant and very bright true turquoise.
If you watch Phineas and Ferb, then the colour of Perry the Platypus is closer to the colour of turquoise.
Is that not the best t-shirt ever? 10 Year Old Boy's best friend has just returned from a three week trip to America, and he brought him back this Perry t-shirt. I want one!
Pretty! Ocean looks so glowy and Turquoise is just beautiful. I'm very familiar with Perry, and he's a perfect match! Now I want one too :)

A-gent P!!!!
My kids and I sit down every afternoon at 4pm and watch Phineas and Ferb together. We all love it :-D
Aww, what a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are absolutely lovely :)
What a handsome boy he is in his new shirt! Lovely picture of the two of you. Love both of the nail polishes. They're both lovely on you. I have one lonely bottle of POP nail polish. It was on sale on BeautyTicket.com. The only bottle they had so I had to try it. Shame it was such a light shade.
