Your daily dose of pretty: Tess black diamante heels

I'm pretty sure the whole 'no shoe shopping for Selina'* thing doesn't count today, since I went to the dentist for the first time in 22 years. Yay me, and can I have these as a reward please?

They're like the itsy bitsy g-string of the shoe world aren't they? But they're sexy and sparkly and on sale for a redonkulously cheap £8.00 on Boohoo. Who it turns out don't ship to New Zealand - GAH!

So the visit to the dentist went well. No, really. Apparently I'm a rarity - my teeth are in such good condition that he almost didn't believe me when I told him that I hadn't visited a dentist in 22 years. I do, however, have to see an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth removed. There was muttering about 'badly impacted' and 'a bit close to that nerve there' while he pointed at my xrays - all I know is it sounds painful.

Oh and you know that sensitive teeth feeling you get after the dentist has poked and prodded and removed tartar? Well I have it, and it is making me grumpy. Especially since they're so tender I don't even want to eat chocolate.

* Which, actually, is not really that successful if the arrival of a pair of shoes from New Look today, and the arrival of a pair from Dorothy Perkins any day now, is anything to go by. Ooops!

  1. You are so lucky! No cavities? I haven't been to the dentist in 6 years and I need to go. I have three impacted wisdom teeth. I should have gotten them out about 10 years ago. I might just leave them alone. You should've taken some asprin for the discomfort.

  2. Lucy I am amazed how lucky I was to not have any cavities! I tried taking painkillers, there was still a dull throbbing ache - urgh! Guess that's a fairly good sign that they need to come out o_O
